Tournaments

Americano tournament rules
The"Americano" tournament is a great opportunity to start your PADEL competition experience. Since players enter individually (not as a team) in this competition format, this is a good opportunity to get to know other players and find a partner for future tournaments. The idea of the "Americano" tournament is that each participant plays a pair with another player (changes the partner) every next game.

Draw before the tournament:
At the start of the tournament, the field and partner for your first game are drawn.

Start of the game:
Before the game starts, it is drawn which team will serve first. Each player serves four points - the first serve must be performed from the right side (first square).
Example: 1 player of team "A" serves four points, then 1 player of team "B" serves four points . After that, player 2 of team “A” scores four points, and player 2 of team “B” scores four points.

Playing order (points):
A predetermined number of points are played in the game: 31 points.
Each point won goes towards the total score of you and your partner. When the game is finished (31 points played), the score is recorded in the total table. A score of 20-11 will give 20 points to each of the match winners and 11 points to each of the match losers. In the "Americano" tournament, every point counts.

End of game:
After 31 points have been played (and written down), the players will change courts as follows - the winning pair will go one court "up" , for example from square 3 to square 2. The losing pair will go "down" one court, say from Court 3 to Court 4 and play another match with 31 points. But this time you have to change the partner - you have to draw a player from the pair that comes to your court.
After the second game is played, the points are added to the points from the first game, and so on until all games are played.

Duration:
The tournament will last for two hours, for example, from 11:00-13:00. 5-6 games are played. When the set time limit (2 hours) approached during the last game, after the sound signal given by the tournament organizer, the last point is played and the game ended, and the corresponding points must be recorded in the total table. After the results of the last game, the final overall rating has been obtained and thus the winner of the tournament has been determined.
Winners court regulations

In the "Winners Court" tournament format, players apply as a team (pair). The goal of this tournament is to fight your way to the highest court - the "winners court" and then defend (keep) your place there until the end of the tournament.

Draw before the tournament:
Before the first tournament the organizers of the game (with the help of a lottery or according to the division of the teams) determine the field on which each of the teams will start the tournament.

Start of the game:
Before starting the game, a draw is drawn to determine which team will serve first. Each player takes turns serving one game. The first serve must be performed from the right side (first square).

Example: 1 player of team "A" serves one game , then 1 player of team "B" serves one game . After that, player 2 of team "A" plays one game, and team "B ” 2 players one game.

Play order (points):
Game takes place for a time: 20 minutes. Points are counted exactly as in tennis doubles: 15, 30, 40; the decisive (golden) point at the score 40:40; then the game is won.diamond” point. Before the "diamond" point (as at the beginning of the game) a draw is made, which from the team will serve this decisive point.

End of game (change of field):
When the winning team is determined, it is necessary to go to the next court. The winning team moves up one square, for example from square 3 to square 2; the losing team goes down one square, for example from square 3 to square 4. The winner on the 1st court does not change the court, but stays in place.

Time:
The tournament lasts two hours , for example from 17:00-19:00. 6 games are played. The winners of the tournament are the team that wins the last game on the highest (first) court.
